TerWax In 1908 – Hermann ter Hell laid the foundations of a trading company in Hamburg which is still very successful in its original field as a supplier of high-quality special waxes. In 1938, Walter Westphal took over and developed the company to a leading supplier of paraffins. His son, Klaus Christian Westphal, took the lead in 1976 and started to diversify, opening up new locations in Europe and theUSA. He was also among the first to test the waters of the China business where the TER GROUP successfully operates in various branches today.
